Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 28 September 2026
We understand that plans can change. Because our camp in Kobang, Lower Mustang, is intimate and limited in capacity, and because we arrange permits, transport and supplies well in advance, the following policy applies to all Doolwa glamping experiences, including our 2 Nights 3 Days, 4 Nights 5 Days, 5 Nights 6 Days and 7 Nights 8 Days packages.
1. Booking Deposit
A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total package price is required to confirm your booking. The remaining balance is due no later than 30 days before your arrival date. Bookings made within 30 days of arrival must be paid in full at the time of booking.
2. Cancellation by the Guest
All cancellations must be sent in writing to info@doolwa.com. The cancellation date is the date we receive your email. Refunds are calculated on the total package price as follows:
Notice before arrivalRefund60 days or moreFull refund, less the 30% deposit30 – 59 days50% of the total package price15 – 29 days25% of the total package priceLess than 15 days, or no-showNo refund
Costs already paid to third parties on your behalf, such as permits and domestic flight tickets, are non-refundable where the supplier does not refund them.
3. Changing Your Dates
You may move your booking to new dates once, free of charge, if you tell us at least 30 days before arrival, subject to availability. The new dates must fall within 12 months of the original arrival date. Any difference in package price for the new dates will apply. Requests made less than 30 days before arrival are treated as a cancellation.
4. Early Departure
No refunds are given for unused nights, meals, activities or services if you leave early or choose not to take part in any part of your itinerary.
5. Weather, Flights and Road Conditions
Travel in Mustang depends on mountain weather. Domestic flights and road access are sometimes delayed or cancelled due to wind, cloud, rain, snow or landslides. When this happens, our team will do everything possible to adjust your itinerary, arrange alternative transport or extend your stay. Additional costs from such delays, including extra nights, meals or alternative transport, are the guest's responsibility and are not refundable by Doolwa. We strongly recommend building a buffer day into your wider travel plans.
6. Cancellation by Doolwa
If we must cancel your booking for reasons within our control, you will receive a full refund of all amounts paid to us, or the option to rebook on new dates at no extra cost. If we must cancel or change your experience due to events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, extreme weather, government restrictions, strikes, political unrest or public health emergencies, we will offer you new dates or a credit valid for 18 months. Cash refunds in these cases are limited to amounts we are able to recover from suppliers.
7. Travel Insurance
We require all guests to hold comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical expenses and emergency evacuation at high altitude. Insurance is the best protection against unexpected changes to your plans.
8. How Refunds Are Paid
Approved refunds are issued to the original method of payment within 14 business days. Bank charges, currency conversion differences and payment processing fees are deducted from the refund amount and are not reimbursed.
